Loud and Clear Voices Festive Entertainment Treats Galore

Loud and Clear Voices would like to share some entertainment treats for you this holiday season.

First of all the new film directed by Angelina Jolie ‘Unbroken’ opens on Boxing Day with our fabulously deep and charismatic Ross Anderson  in the role of Blackie. After a near-fatal plane crash in WWII, Olympian Louis Zamperini spends a harrowing 47 days in a raft with two fellow crewmen before he’s caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.

This film looks like it’s going to be a smash hit judging by the early reviews.

Next up is the return of our favourite Sunday night smash hit ‘Call The Midwife’ in it’s Christmas outing with the very beautiful Helen George . Since its inception in 2012, Call the Midwife has become must-watch TV with over 10 million people tuning in to the Sunday night shenanigans of a group of midwives in impoverished 1950s East London. With a fourth series due next year, viewers are in for a treat this Christmas.

Finally, Marcus Garvey returns  to the role of Greg in the hugely successful ‘Last Tango In Halifax’ this Christmas with a  brand new 6 part series.  Celia and Alan are both widowed and in their seventies. When their respective grandsons put their details on Facebook, they rediscover a passionate relationship that started over sixty years ago.

Series 3 returns on 28th Dec at 9pm on BBC1.
